Post Problems with pen lift

Penlift won't hold position. Over the course of (approx 20 lift cycles) drawing it slowly drifts anti clockwise. Is this likely to be a board or a servo fault ?

Do you mean that a "lift" moves the control horn 90 degrees, but a "drop" turns it 95 degrees? So a series of lifts and drops eventually turns the control horn all the way around?

Or does it move until it's eventually at the far anti-clockwise limit and then needs some kind of reset?

I don't recall having to fix a bug like this in the past, so I'm tempted to say it's just an elderly servo motor misbehaving.
