Post Motors not moving when vector is drawn

Hi,

I made a polograph using an arduino uno. When I set the gondola to home the motors move and they do when I set the pen position. However, once I set up my vector and press "draw vector" on the servo moves NOT the motors. How can I fix this?

Hello there! Have you you uploaded your machine spec?

That behaviour is often because you're drawing lines that the machine believes to be outside of its area. You might be getting some error messages back from the machine. Pop up the debugging console with ctrl+c and see what messages are flying back and forth.

Good luck,

Sn

Hi Sandy,

Yes I have uploaded my machine spec. The motors work and everything its only that they are not moving when I press draw vector and there are no error messages in the debugging console it only says incoming: ready

Make sure you have the Command Queue enabled.
Image

Hardware:
*Running an Arduino Nano reflashed with an Uno bootloader
*Modified knockoff GRBL CNC shield with knockoff DRV8825 step drivers
*400mA -200 step motors set to 16x microstepping
*2mm belt with 36 tooth drive gears
*Machine set to 1500 Max speed and 5000 motor acceleration

Software:
*Stock Polargraph Controller to make command queues
*D2S version 2
*Send.py on remote Raspberry Pi

Please be more thoughtful about what you're asking, and give a little more description about what's happening so we can diagnose it.

When you press "draw vector", does it create a command queue?
Are the commands from the queue being sent to the machine?
