Hi, my name is Benjamin Aedo and i from Chile.
I made a polargraph but im having problems with de calibration.
I'm using an Arduino UNO witch CNC Shield, 2 Pololu A4988, 2 recycled stepper motors (TEC SPH-54AB-094), 2 aluminions Pulleys with 20 teeth each one and a GT2 timing belt. I have been calibrating my machine at least 20 times but i got no success to draw where i want.
I think that it is a "mm x rev" problem or a "step x rev" one, but i cant see de difference between both. Thanks!

Hello there, the numbers look ok.

- mmPerRev is the circumference of the pulley, and looks about right (18 x 3.14).
- stepsPerRev is also correct, that stepper seems to have 200 steps per revolution.

The only thing left is microstepping - your CNC shield probably has your stepper drivers configured with microsteps, and so you should change your stepMultiplier to match it. It could be 16x or 8x microstepping but you'll have to answer that yourself. There's usually some jumpers underneath the drivers.
