Yes, accuracy is not very good. In the future, I want to try an upgraded version gondola.

This is an improved version of the polar drawbot from daGHIZmo https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2164106 When I assembling my polarograph, it was not there yet.

Hi all,

It seems a good thread to share images. So here are some works that were drawn by my Polargraph so far. Also you can find more of them on Flickr album. Unfortunately, I stopped to produce new images for one and a half year ago.

My installation have limitations so I could not try all styles. I have found most comfortable for me to play around with vector images. Thus I have more control over the final result. In some cases I drew images from the scratch, in other I converted raster images to vector ones.

Hardware:
- Arduino MEGA 2560
- RAMPS 1.4 shield
- Pololu A4988 stepper motor driver carriers
- hybrid stepper motors NEMA 17 (JK42HM48-1504)
- hobby servomotor
Software from Sandy Nobel

Prostorcrimea, the irony of this drawing is palpable. A photo-realistic digitally generated image of a physical object, filtered into ascii-art that could be printed on a daisy-wheel printer, drawn stroke-by-stroke by a robot holding a pen. This is madness indeed!

Well done, I think 🙂

In the photo is not visible, but with a different angle of light, the lines glitter with metal.
